TOMORROW WILL BE THE 1,000TH ISSUE OF THE SPN NEWSLETTER
The first issue of the spnnewsletter was on February 17, 2006. Since then it has been published daily. It is is currently watched by 4,652 journals. It has linked to over 25,000 pieces of fic and countless icons, artworks, metas, pictures, new communtities and news.

Many people have been involved pver the 1,000 issues. The current compilers are: waterofthemoon, frayen, clex_monkie89, thehighwaywoman, benitle, keepaofthecheez, and ktnb81, with honorary editors vylit, schneestern, innie_darling, and bunnymcfoo.

The mods are estrella30, monkiedude, and marishna.

The newsletter is central to the creation of our our fandom, linking us beyond our fic to other fans creations, thoughts and news.

Tomorrow they will post the 1,000th newsletter – a brilliant achievement. deirdre_c and I thought it would be great if we could thank the wonderful fans who spend hard hours each week slogging through hundreds of posts, risking being spoil or squicked, and coding til their eyes bleed. It's not a glamorous job, but we love them for it!
